Timothy "Wolf Heart" James Lakota Dale

Tim was born on August 6, 1993, in Columbus, Ohio, to June Dale and Tim Strong Bear. He grew up in the Columbus area and attended Watkins Memorial High School. A dedicated and hardworking man, Tim spent seven years working as a package handler for FedEx.

A proud member of the Great Sioux Nation, Tim lived his life on the Red Road. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could most often be found fishing, hunting, hiking, or camping. Many of these adventures were shared with his brother Josh. Tim also enjoyed traveling with his girlfriend, visiting places such as Myrtle Beach, Maine, and Michigan. Artistic and resourceful by nature, he was known for finding creative ways to honor nature, even utilizing roadkill for meaningful purposes.

Tim will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor and playful spirit. A natural prankster, he could always bring laughter into any situation. Above all, he was a wonderful son, brother, and boyfriend who loved deeply and lived fully.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Eunice Adell, his grandfather Lige Bear Dale, his uncles Rocky Dale, Roy Adell, and Tom Adell, and his aunt Beth Hartman.

He is survived by his parents Tim Strong Bear and June Dale; his brothers William Estremera (Christina), Joshua Estremera (Amy), Trevor Dale, and James Harshbarger; his grandmother Dotty Dale; his nieces Celina, Aayla, and Mara Estremera; the love of his life and girlfriend of eight years, Riley Loughman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

A funeral service and visitation will be held on January 16, 2026, at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, located at 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio, 43123. The service will begin at 4:00 pm, with visitation immediately following at the same location until 7:00 pm.

Tim’s spirit lives on in the stories shared, the laughter he brought into every room, and the genuine love he gave to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
