Alberta Lee Buckles Leitch

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Alberta Leitch on August 1, 2022 at Hospice Wellington, surrounded by her family. Beloved partner to Al Tarzwell. Loving mother of Doug (Valerie), Garry (Marlene), Rob (Beth), and Terry (Jodi). Proud grandmother to Nicole, James, Michelle (Ron), Cody, (Jess), Bud (Jody), Ali (Matt), Joey (Sam), and Austin. Cherished great-grandmother to Parker, Wyatt, Jeffrey, and Hazel. Treasured sister to Dick Buckles. Predeceased by her parents Albert, Agnes, sister Nan, brother Bob, and daughter-in-law Sheri. Will be missed by all her friends and extended family.

Her love for life was to follow her sons and grandchildren in whatever sports and activities they were in, “Family Skate Day” at Christmas, Saturday gatherings in Rob’s garage, and watching curling on T.V.

A special thank you to Hospice Wellington, the paramedics, Dr. Daly, and the Bayshore nursing team for all the exceptional and compassionate care she received.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends and relatives for visitation on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm followed by a Funeral Service in the Hart Chapel beginning at 2:00pm. Guests are welcome to join the family for a reception in the Hart Fellowship Lounge after the service.
