Angelo Andrea Sartor

SARTOR, Angelo - God called Angelo peacefully, on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the Guelph General Hospital. Angelo Sartor, age 89 years, was the beloved husband of 63 years, of the late Rosanna Neves (Craboledda) Sartor (December 5, 2004). He was the loving father and friend of Sandra and her late husband Mario Pobega of Guelph. Angelo was predeceased by his infant daughter, Bianca Maria. He was the proud Nonno of Paul Pobega, his wife Simone and Bis Nonno of Adriana of Orillia and Jason Pobega and his wife Elisha of Guelph. Angelo was the dear brother of Angelina Gazzola and her husband Vittorio of Guelph, Guido (Beppino) Sartor of Nice, France, and the late Giovanni (Ceo), Antonio, and Bruno Sartor, Ida Roncato, Gino and Erminio Sartor. He was the dear brother-in-law of Marcella Montalbetti and her late husband Carlo of Guelph, Marie Sartor and Bianca Craboledda and her late husband Nino, both of Hamilton. Predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Rosa (Penzin) Sartor. Predeceased also by his dearest cousins, Francesco and Giovanna (Nannedda) Arghittu. Angelo will be lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews in the Sartor, Craboledda, Roncato, Gazzola, Arghittu, and Montalbetti families and by cousins in Italy, Sansovini, Beccattini and Craboledda families and also by his niece, Linda Sartor and her husband Dario of Ferrara, Italy. He will be sadly missed by his many, many relatives and friends. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home , Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Angelo will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. The Celebrant will be Father Bernie Carroll and the Con Celebrant will be Monsignor Canuto Toso. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
