Anna Hrycyk

HRYCYK, Anastasia (Anna)— Passed away at Riverbend Place, Cambridge on Monday, March 17, 2014. Anna (nee Zajac) Hrycyk, in her 90th year, was the wife of the late Alex Hrycyk (February 26, 1987). She was the dear mother of Peter and his wife Maureen of Armstrong, BC and mother-in-law of Katherine of Collingwood, ON. Anna was the loved grandmother of John Michael and Kristen and great-grandmother of Janet, Sydney, Sophia and Millicent. She was the dear step-grandmother of Julie and her husband Chuck and step-great-grandmother to their children Shane and Marlee. Anna was predeceased by her son Bohdan (Don) Hrycyk. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Panakhyda for Anna will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass Parastas will be held at Holy Protection of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, 115 York Rd., Guelph, on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Protection of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home (259-822-4731) or send condolences to www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com ).
