Anna Sokolowski

SOKOLOWSKI, Anna— Passed away, peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Anna (nee Widziszewski) Sokolowski, in her 79th year, was the beloved wife of Jan (John) Sokolowski. She was the dear mother of Jozef (Cyndi), Stanislaw (Stan)(Anna) and Janusz (John) (Nancy). Anna is fondly remembered by grandchildren Joe Jr., Dottie, Steven, Patricia and Daniel and by great-grandchildren Gavin, Owen, William, Benjamin and Leah. Anna is survived by one sister Olga Olywa and by many nieces, nephews and cousins, and by family in Poland. She is predeceased by her parents Wladyslaw and Maria (nee Raniowski) Widziszewski. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, February 5, 2015 and on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Anna will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., Guelph, on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
