Antonio Tony Nini

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio Nini at the Guelph General Hospital on March 13, 2014 in his 74th year with his family by his side. Antonio was the loving husband of Carmela, loving father to Dario (Angela) and David (Kelly). Son of the late Raffaele and Marietta Nini. Loving brother of Lucietta (Nicola) of Italy, brother-in-law to Antonio (Suzanne), Anna (John) and Maria (Andrew). Beloved Nonno to Alexander, Adrian, Lucas, Christian, Arianna, Matthew, and Sebastian. Antonio will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Tony was a 47 year member of the UA Local 527 Plumbers and Steamfitters Association and a long time employee at the University of Guelph in the Physical Resources Department. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday, March 16, 2014 for visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with a vigil at 2:30 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 10:30 am with a procession to Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, for entombment. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Church, St. John’s Church, Church of Our Lady Building Fund, or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
