Bernice Dawkins

DAWKINS, Bernice Rose Passed away at St Mary’s General Hospital at the age of 83 with her son by her side Saturday, May 20th 2012. Bea worked as a secretary, book keeper and office manager in lawyers offices in London and Guelph. Predeceased by her sister Gladys Jones. Survived by her sisters Dorothy Sewell and Nona Clark. Bea will be remembered for her beautiful quilts and love of gardening. Ron and Bea are the loving parents of Becky Arnold and husband Rodger, Kathy Welsh and partner Fred Rosomand, John Dawkins and wife Rachel, Patty Shearer and husband Mike. They will be missed by their grandchildren Gord Worden and wife Kim, Jessie McClinckey and husband Sean, Adam Rodgers, Shari Dezell and husband Jim, Emily Hobbs and husband John, Stacey Kenna and husband Jeremy and Zoe Dawkins appearing shortly; and by their great grandchildren Morgan, Emary and Aydin Dezell, Alexander, Evan & Quinton McClinkey, Olivia and Elyssa Worden, Victoria and Charlotte Hobbs, Quin Kenna. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 24 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street Guelph. There will be a service at St. James Westminister Anglican Church, 115 Askin St., London Ont. Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive in London. The reception to follow will be announced at the church. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Guelph General Hospital and University Teaching Hospital of London Ontario.

There will be a service at St. James Westminister Anglican Church, 115 Askin St., London Ont. Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive in London.
