Beryl Ann Huddleston Johnston

On Monday, August 2, 2021 - Celebrating the life of Beryl Johnston, in her 76th year. Beryl enjoyed 52 wonderful years with her loving husband Wayne (2020). Beloved mother to Patrick (Sarah McAnulty) and Audra (Ian Bolton). Beryl will be missed by her 4 beautiful grandchildren Tanner, Jarrett, Elsie and Marty and also her twin sister Eleanor (Bryan Harrison) and younger sister Audrey (Rolf Heyking). Beryl was born in Ireland and came to Guelph with her parents in her early childhood. Beryl was loved and admired by everyone who met her. She was a bright, fun-loving person with energy to spare. She will be truly missed by many extended family and friends.

Beryl enjoyed a fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher at Edward Johnson, James McQueen and Paisley Road Public Schools, where she was a favourite among her students and colleagues. Beryl was happiest shopping with her sisters, playing tennis with her girlfriends and being at a cottage in Sauble Beach. She also enjoyed traveling to distant places such as Florida, Mexico, Cuba, Ireland, Scotland, China, Spain and Portugal to name a few. Above all, Beryl took great pleasure in spending quality time with her loving family, many friends and her faithful German Shepherd dogs Jessie, Shelby, Roxy and Sam.
