

Peacefully at the Riverside Glen Community, on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Matthew (2009). Loving mum to Valerie (Geoff), Dawn (Tom) and Gail (Kevin). Cherished Nana to Kris, Kim, Lisa, Henry, Shannon, Stacey, Jacob, Shelby and Zachary, with the loving support of their spouses. Predeceased by her granddaughter Lianne. Adoring Great-Nana to eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Alyson Slade of Winnipeg, MB. Betty served in the British Women’s Army Corps in World War II. She was a lifelong member of the United Church and was a passionate and proud member of numerous organizations within the community. A special thank you to the staff of Riverside Glen and to Dr. William Ruddock for their loving and attentive care. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and her friends and by those who loved her. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where visitation will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 12noon-2pm, with a Funeral Service to follow in our chapel. Cremation. Interment Spring 2016 at Salem United Church in Summerstown, Ontario.
