Blanche Lewis

LEWIS, Blanche Georgina— Peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Blanche Lewis, in her 80th year, was, for fifty-eight years, the beloved wife of Dudley Lewis. She was the dear mother of Kim (Wayne Hollingshead), Wayne (Daniela) and Kathy, and the loving grandmother of Matthew (Jovana), Ian (Amy), Amanda and Andrea. Blanche was the loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews, including David and Terri, Sarah, Emily and Brett. She was predeceased by her parents George and Minnie Noonan, her siblings Marguerite, Bob, Jay, Cecil, Madeline and Gerald, and by her daughter Karen. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Blanche will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Blanche’s ashes will be interred at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph, at a later date.
