PURDY, Catherine Cecilia (Ferringo) At the Guelph General Hospital on Monday October 25, 2010, with her family by her side when God called another angel home. Catherine C. Purdy, age 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Lorne J. Purdy (2002). Loving mother of Margaret Curtis (Jim), Lorna (Maynard) Pederson, all of Guelph and Jean (Don) VanSanten of Arthur. Very loved Noni of Dawn, Kelly (Jordan), Donny, Cory (Rachel), Casey, William and Joshua. Loving companion of Wilf McKenzie. Dear sister of Michael Ferringo (Gloria) and Rose Mickelown of Guelph and the late Margaret Miller & Jean Hanna. Very special Aunt, second Mom and best friend of Carole Russo. Catherine will be missed by many loved nieces and nephews and many friends as well as her dancing buddies in Maryhill. Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Carmela Ferringo. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in the ER and on the 4th Floor at the Guelph General Hospital for all their care and support.
