Chuck died peacefully with family by his bedside at North Bay Regional Health Centre, North Bay. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Judy (nee Sorbara) Mitchell, by his children Donna (Larry) Steadman, James Mitchell, Carrie Mitchell, Michael (Angela) Mitchell and Jennifer Swan. He is survived by his sister Shirley (Steven) O'Neill, Robert (Tammy) Mitchell and Susan Mitchell, by his 13 grandchildren, by his 7 great-grandchildren, by his foster children and by many nieces and nephews. Chuck is predeceased by 1 sister and 5 brothers.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 7-9 p.m., and then, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10 - 11:30 a.m.. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
