SMILLIE, Craig Douglas— It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Craig, with his loving family by his side on March 24th, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, in his 50th year. Loving husband of Judi Prigione. Proud dad of Charlotte. Son of Joy and the late William Smillie (2011). Caring brother of Cameron (Carolynn Clark), Clark and Clyde (Lynda). Thoughtful uncle to Lauren Smillie. Loved son-in-law of Mary and the late John Prigione (1987). Dear brother-in-law to John Prigione (Mae), Diane Barber (Rick), Kathy Cutler, Gerry Prigione, Nancy Lyle (Ralph) and Patty Mikkila (Bruce). He will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews, Jen Cutler (Rob Page), Ryan Barber (Jen), Jeff Cutler, Jay Barber (Aimee), Andrew Lyle, Mark Lyle, Jessyca and John Prigione, Brian and Andrea Mikkila, Tammy Jamieson (Lorne) and Chris Bolton (Colleen). Great uncle to Aaron, Evan and Elizabeth. Thank you to Dr. Cameron Purdon for his many years of care, compassion and guidance. A very special thank you to Dr. M. Babapulle and all the nursing staff of the ICC Unit, St Mary’s Hospital. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where a Memorial Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in our chapel Thursday, March 29th, 2012 at 1 p.m. Inurnment of ashes at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family. Information regarding an educational trust fund for Charlotte, will be available at the funeral home on the day of visitation.
