Doris Elizabeth Milton

MILTON, Doris E.- Peacefully at Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph, on Friday, July 17, 2009, at the age of 97. Predeceased by her parents, William McInnes and Clara (Pilling) Milton, brothers, William, John (Lettie) and Ernest (Flo), and her sister Jean. Dear aunt of John (Peggy) of Lakefield and lovingly remembered by her great nieces and nephews. Doris graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Guelph, and worked as a private duty nurse in Toronto and Guelph. She attended University of Toronto and received a diploma in Public Health Nursing and worked for many years for the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Health Unit as a Public Health Nurse. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Monday, July 20, 2009, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. George's Anglican Church Building Fund or St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
