Dorothy Margaret Watson

Watson, Dorothy (Purdy)- Passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 5, 2008 at the Guelph General Hospital, in her 86th year. Dorothy was the caring wife of the late George Watson (1992), loving mother of Sandra Burkett (Mike), adoring grandmother of Daralyn Bowman and Shawn Bowman (Rosanna) and great grandmother to Auden, Ethen, Zander, Dante, Cooper. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Margaret and Herbert Purdy, predeceased by her brothers and sisters Edith, Herbert, Lorne, Norma, Johnny, Jimmy Sister in-law of Walter Lyle (Elizabeth), Cathy Purdy, Verna Purdy, Irene and Hugh Dickinson. Dorothy will be remembered by her family and friends, Laurie Bowman, Jane McRonald, Joan Bell, Al and Irene McKay, Lori Burkett Shirley Madigan and Lou Wickham. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, "Hart Chapel", 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph where the family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, November 9, 2008 (2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. Internment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Donations on Dorothy's behalf can be made to the R.P.
