
BRUNTON, EDWARD VINCENT -June 16, 1950 - April 10, 2015- Ed Brunton of Elmwood, Ontario, passed away at the Owen Sound Hospital after a lengthy illness. Sadly missed by his long-time companion Linda Storey of Elmwood and his brother George Brunton (Kathleen) of London, Ontario, and nieces Celine; Joanne; Mary Catherine; Gina and his nephew George. Ed will be missed by many cousins and the Mast family, Rae; Glen; Dale and the late Muriel (2006). Ed was predeceased by his parents George Brunton (1951) and Mary Mast (1990) and his step-father Jack Mast (1995). Following graduation from G.C.V.I., Ed lived in the Guelph/Breslau area and became a talented leather craftsman. In 2002 he opened Ed's Leather Shop in Elmwood, where he continued to produce a variety of unique leather items. Ed was proud of his family and never missed a Brunton Guelph reunion and remained loyal to his friends. Cremation has taken place and Ed's ashes will be buried with his parents at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held in Elmwood at a later date.
