Eileen Heaney

HEANEY, Eileen Margaret (nee Mahony) Passed away, peacefully, at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Eileen Margaret Heaney, in her 59th year, was the beloved wife of Larry, for 41 years. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Mary Patricia Mahony (late James). Eileen was the dear mother of Kristine Figueiredo (Peter) and Jason Heaney. She was the proud grandmother of Elizabeth and Isabel Figueiredo. Eileen is survived by her siblings John (Patty) Mahony, Maureen Mahony, Kathleen Hamilton (Darlow) and Tom (Barbara) Mahony. She was predeceased by her brother Joe Mahony (2010). Eileen’s smile will be missed by everyone. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Eileen will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 9 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
