Elizabeth Mitchell

May 4, 1932 - July 13, 2016

Passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the age of 84, at the Guelph General Hospital. She is survived by her brother Andrew (Denise) Blake of Edmonton, Alberta, and a very large extended family. Betty is predeceased by her parents, James and Isabella (nee Smith) Blake, and by her brothers Francis, William and Herb Blake. Betty was a loyal employee of General Electric for many years, which then, later, became known as ABB.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Basilica of our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph on Saturday, July 16th at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Marymount Catholic Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by family. The family would also like to thank the many Guelph General Hospital doctors, nurses and other care givers who so tenderly cared for Betty during her most painful days.
