On Tuesday, May 19th, Eric Lyon passed away at home with his family at his side. Eric will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jennifer Lyon, son Adrian Lyon, daughter Sarah Lyon (James McNicoll) and granddaughter Alethea Lyon-McNicoll. He will also be remembered by his cousin Jennifer Young (Jack) and family as well as many extended family members and friends in Canada, the U.K. and Greece. Eric is predeceased by his mother Chrysoula Lyon.
Eric’s tenacity and quest for his dreams encouraged us to be our best and reach our own potential. He was full of heart and compassion for everyone he encountered. He has shown great courage in the past year in dealing with his illness, continuing to pursue his interests and enjoying time with his granddaughter. Even though he will be greatly missed, we will continue to try and fulfill his dreams with love and fond memories.
No funeral will be held but donations to Prostate Cancer Canada or a charity of your choice (having meaning for you) would be appreciated in order to honour Eric’s passing.
