Evelyn Lillow

LILLOW, Evelyn - The family of Evelyn Marguerite Lillow, sadly announce her passing, in her 86th year, at the Guelph General Hospital, April 28, 2009. She was Arnold's loved wife for over 63 years; cherished mother of Barbara Lillow (and her husband, Scott Andrews) and Mary Strimas (and her late partner, Gord Bannister); special "Granny" to Mary's children, Andrew (and his partner, Wendy Lowry, and Rachel (and her partner, Bevin Lyon); loved sister of Norma McMinn of Toronto. Predeceased by her brother Jack, 1978. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Glenna Smith, and her husband, Bill Smith, and their family; also by her brother-in-law, John Lillow, and his family. Evelyn lived a full life, always putting family, first. She touched many with her bubbly personality and her Irish wit. Those of us who loved her have quite an example to follow. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A private family internment will take place at Wingham Cemetery, at a later date.
