

Angelone, Franco Jr. (Frankie) Guelph, Ontario Feb.22, 1984-Jan.8, 2014 Tragically and suddenly taken from us on January 8th, 2014 at the age of 29. Frankie will greatly be missed by his parents, Franco and Paola Angelone, his sister Maddalena Angelone (Eric Simone), his late brother Omar Angelone and sister in law Angela Angelone, nephews and niece Franco, Loredana and Alessandro Angelone, his grandparents Tullio and Amelia Leombruni and his uncle Paul Leombruni and family. He will also be missed by many other family members and friends. As a young man, Frankie started winning competitions for automotive design. He graduated from College for Creative Studies with a semester spent at the Florence Design Academy,Firenze,Italy. He then achieved his Masters degree at Domus Academy in Milano, Italy. He became the Fiat Embassador at Wellington Motors Ltd. in Guelph. Eventually bringing him to living in Maranello, Italy, passionately pursuing his dream of working for Ferrari. His new friendships at Ferrari lead him to realizing one of his dreams; racing a Ferrari himself. Frankie’s other passions included watching Juventus games in Italy, where he met many of the players, including his favourite player Alessandro DelPiero. Another sport Frankie loved was hockey and his Ottawa Senators. He attended many games locally and travelled to Ottawa for them. Anyone who knows Frankie also knows his love for Bon Jovi, attending every concert possible, following them to Toronto, Ottawa and Detroit. At the last concert he attended, his backstage tour included seeing his own paintings on the walls of their private dressing rooms. The crew manager told Frankie himself that they have toured with the paintings since Frankie gave them to the band two years prior. Lastly, Frankie’s biggest passion was his love for his family and friends. He was often described as having a big heart , bringing life and joy to every room he entered. He lived life to the fullest with the motto: “No dream is too big”. Frankie will forever be missed and always loved by his family. He touched many lives and the world has lost an amazing young man. The family will receive friends at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Church on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 at 10 a.m. Entombment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. A reception will follow at Guelph Place 492 Michener Rd. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
