
WILSON, Frederick E.-- We are mourning the loss of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, peacefully at Hospice Wellington on April 18th, 2011, in his 69th year, surrounded by his family after he lost his valiant battle with cancer. Fred was a cherished husband to Sandra (nee Lloyd) for 48 years. He is lovingly survived by his children Rod (Colleen) and Christine Curran (Andrew). Also survived by his beautiful grandchildren Patrick, Kathleen, Matthew, Liam and Emily. Fred will be missed by his sisters and brothers Frances, Robert, Lillian (Gerald), Marg (Doug) and Cathy. Predeceased by his brother George (Fern). Originally from Port Sydney, he raised his family in Georgetown, ON then settled in Guelph. An outdoorsman and fisherman, he will be missed by his "Fishing Buddies"--his grandchildren. A thoughtful appreciation to all of Fred's support workers and a special thank you to Hospice Wellington for making his last days restful and peaceful. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 from 7-9pm. Visiting will continue on Wednesday, April 20th, from 11am-1pm. A Memorial Service will follow in our chapel at 1pm.
