COTTER, James Edward – Peacefully, at Riverside Glen Retirement Home, on Tuesday, August 07, 2007. Jim Cotter, in his 91st year, was the beloved husband the late Ruth M. (Laidlaw) Cotter (2006). Dear father of Gary, Judy (John) Lammert of Arthur, Rick (Beth) Cotter of Kitchener, Janis (Mike) Ray of Puslinch. Cherished grandfather of Jeff, Trina, Chris, Becky, Brad, Ami, Marc, Atticus, and Mary Bea. Loving great-grandfather of nine. For many years, Jim and Ruth were owners of a grocery store on Ontario St., Guelph. Jim worked until his retirement as a postmaster at the Ontario Veterinary College. “Dad has gone for his longest walk. Mom, he is on his way to meet you.” Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home “HART CHAPEL” 1099 Gordon St., where the family will receive friends on Thursday, August 9, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park.
