James Bernard Jim Smith

Smith, James Bernard (Jim) Passed away peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Jim will be fondly remembered by his children; Richard of Winnipeg and Margaret (Glen) of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Natasha and Aaron. Dear brother of Kenneth (Colleen) Smith, Sally (Bud) Rogers, Michael (Terry) Henderson and Larry (Phyllis) Baines. Jim will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim retired from the Canadian Standards Association as a mechanical engineer in the late 1980’s and enjoyed retirement in his garden, reading and by spending the long winters in Florida. His family will receive friends at Arbour Trails, 32 Bayberry Drive, Guelph ON, for a service of remembrance on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph ON.
