Jean Marie Steffler

We are saddened to announce the passing of our Mom, Jean Marie Steffler (Molet) 6 days before her 93rd Birthday at the General Hospital, Guelph.

She is now reunited with her beloved Husband Joe (2023) of 68 years. Dear Mother of Ken (Eleanor), Judy (Tony), Paul (Natalie), Susan (Dave), Marie, Peter and will be missed by son in law Juan Carlos. Proud Grandma to Sarah (Brian), Jayson (Gillian), Maggie (Craig), Christopher (Robyn), Whitney (Kris), Danielle (Justin), Lisa (Kevin), Krieg (Erica), Molette (Ty), Tracy, Carla (Ethan), Jeff (Jenn) and Chad. GG will missed by Lucas, Harlie Ann, Andrew, Roslyn, Laine, Brooklyn, Elle, Adara, Kaia, Olivia, Addison Jean, Hunter and Brooklyn. Survived by brother-in-law Ken Steffler

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Sarah Molet, sister’s Bette and Ralph Goodwin, (Twin Sister) Joan Bateson, Eileen and Pat Campbell, and Eleanor Bot, in-laws, Peter and Reta Steffler Rita and Louie Dudley. Auntie will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Mom was a hard worker, she was a stay at home Mom who raised 6 kids. Being around kids always brought a smile to Mom’s face. If 6 kids weren’t enough, Mom also babysat other people’s kids, we always had little one’s running around our home. She enjoyed getting together with her friends to play Rummoli. Mom and Dad retired in their early 60’s bought a motorhome and traveled across Canada and down through the United States, meeting many people along the way.

After a long battle with Alzheimer’s Mom is finally at peace. She is home with Dad and all her siblings. It will be one heck of a party!!!! Another one gets their wings!!!!

Mom we love you and we are going to miss you immensely.

Thank you to the 4th floor East, at General Hospital for their care and compassion we are truly grateful!!!

As per Mom’s wishes, our Family will be holding a private service.
