Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. May God give you the strength to get through these days.  Jean was an amazing individual and mentor to many.  She was full of life and always there when you needed her.  She will be fondly remembered and missed.

Jean's Obituary was sent to me from a Moncton relative. I didn't know her but I did know her sister Nina. If it is the Nina Hubbert who graduated from Moncton High in 1964, I would love to have a family contact. I am sherry abramson , live in Vancouver, BC and Nina was my friendly competitor for best marks through Moncton High. We completely lost touch after high school and wonder how her life unfolded. There is no one like you, Jean. I don't know anyone who has the ability to keep their chin up, smile and exude such positivity, even under the most trying of circumstances. You are an inspiration and will forever be marked on my heart. Thank you for teaching me how to roast a turkey. I cherish that memory and will think of you every time my hands are covered in globs of butter as I prep for Thanksgiving dinner! All my love, Heather xo

To Bill and family, so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Her smile and laughter is just one thing I will never forget! She was a wonderful colleague, but best of all , she was an amazing Friend ! God bless, Gary Laakso. 

My condolences to the family. Denise I am very sorry to hear about your Mom passing. I worked with Jean for many years when she was the District Manager for the K/W and Guelph area when I worked in the Sales Office in Guelph on Silvercreek Pkwy. Jean was a very tough lady but she had the biggest heart and treated everyone with so much respect. She had the biggest laugh. I remember at one of our Christmas parties when my girls were small, Bill was Santa Claus and the girls absolutely loved sitting with him. I still have that picture. Jean will be surely missed. Again, my thoughts and prayers to Denise and the entire family through this very difficult time.

just to let you know that I'd like to attend Jean's funeral tomorrow, but I picked up COVID in Saskatchewan last week. I'll be over the isolation period, but I'll do a test to confirm that's okay to attend. I wanted you both to know that Karen and I are thinking of you at this time, in case I can't attend.

Karen and I want to express our sympathies to you and the family. Jean had a tremendous impact on our lives - she taught me the ins and out of agency and sales management at The Co-operators and Karen fondly remembers  "Jean's Gems" of leadership principles. She encouraged me to move to a region leadership role (she knew what she wanted in a boss!) , and that gave me the skillset I needed to be successful with my next role as president of SGI. She was truly the definition of authentic leadership. We were blessed to have you and Jean in our lives.

Tough (and scary at times ) but more so, compassionate and caring when someone needed that most.  She was a genuine person. Dear Bill and Family. Words alone can not express our deepest sympathy with the passing of your beautiful wife and mother,  Jean.
We have so many fond memories of a woman who lived life to the fullest!!  My success at David Bruce Associates started with my District Manager Jean Suffern.  She was an incredible mentor and very good at assisting me in making some decisions.  One quote which I remember and still use today with my family is…”When making any decision, there is never any right decision, only the decision you make right!!”   Thanks for the memories.
