Proud grandmother of Erin, Lisa, Amanda, Spencer, Shayan, Alex ,Megan, Ariane, Jeffrey, Zoha and great-grandmother of Mason and Spencer. Dear sister of James (Jimmy) Frost (Margot), of Trois Rivieres and sister-in-law of Paco Frost, of Laval and Laurette Larose of Trois Rivieres. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Rachel Frost; her siblings, William, Laurie (Hughette), Joe, Lou, Charlie, Jean, June and Lawrence Frost, and her daughter-in-law Linda Aubin.
Jane was a woman of many talents. She had a natural artistic talent and painted from age 14. She sewed her own clothes and played the piano. Growing up on the river, she was an avid boater and swimmer, and enjoyed various winter sports such as skiing and skating. While raising her five children she took an active role in community, supporting people at the local drop in centre; acting as President of Single Parent Families, and was Executive Director of Big Brothers and Big Sisters in her region for many years, applying her keen insight and wisdom to ensure the best matches. Opportunities for underprivileged children were important to her. After retiring from Big Brothers, she moved to Ontario and dedicated her time tirelessly to the Bahai Community of Guelph whose core work in promoting the advancement of world peace and unity spoke to her heart. She was always friendly and gracious, with an avid thirst for knowledge and continually striving for meaningful conversations with others. She was often referred to by others in community as the "nicest person on the planet." She will be terribly missed.
