John Noonan

Noonan, John Joseph "Jay" at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday December 31, 2010, in his 87th year. Jay Noonan, beloved husband of the late Peggy Driscoll and the late Edy Drohan. Dear father of David Noonan (Terri) and Edward Noonan (Wendy), loving grandfather to Sarah, Emily (Mike), Brett, Derek (Katherine) and great-grandfather to Madison and Michael. Jay was the loving step-father to Judy Drohan, Catherine O'Leary (Mike), Kevin Drohan (Trudy), Michael Drohan (Shirley) and Darrell Drohan (Lea), loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Madeline Dewar, Blanche Lewis (Dudley), and the late Marguerite, Robert, Cecil and Gerald. Jay will be missed by his dear friend Evelyn Jonas. Jay was a World War II veteran - Royal Canadian Army Medical Corp, and a past Grand Knight. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home "Dublin Chapel" 252 Dublin Street, North, Guelph where the family will receive friends for visitation on Monday January 3, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2011 at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma Street, Guelph at 10:30 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery.
