ROUD, Joseph Edwin - Peacefully and with dignity on Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 in his 63rd year. Although Joe retreated more into himself as his illness became increasingly challenging, he treasured the memories he'd made with extended family and so many good friends throughout his lifetime. His life was a journey he shared with his beloved wife, soulmate, and dearest friend Barb. His legacy is a son, Steve (Amanda) and daughter, Tana (Lee) both of whom he was enormously proud and his 6 beautiful grandchildren, Madison, Molly, Jack, Abby, Ryan, and Sage who each put a smile on grandpa's face and held a special place in his heart. Joe felt blessed to have an extraordinary team of caring angels who lent their support and gave so willingly of themselves, his sister-in-law Margaret, and friends Londo, Diane, Janet, Jayne, Trish, Julianne, Margo, Betty-Lou, John, Uta, and Bonnie. He looked forward to and enjoyed your drives together. Joe is also survived by his brother, John Roud (Charmaine) and sister, Barbara McIntyre and their families. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, (Wednesday 2-4 p.m.). A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 7 p.m., followed by a reception in the fellowship lounge.
