I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Karen and I met at aqua-fit and I was always happy to see her and talk to her. I will miss seeing her.

My deepest condolences to  the Andrew’s Family.   Karen was my 1 st cousin with her Mother  Ruby and my Mother Florence being sisters.  I have not seen her in many, many years but of course I remember our early days as children being in each other’s company. Usually for Sunday dinner between the sister’s houses.   She was eleven years  older than myself  so were we not as close as her  younger sister Brenda  whom I still have a relationship to this day.    RIP Karen.  Wendy Beaudoin (nee) Downes

Karen, I hope you, Kathie, Eleanora, Gayle and Jackie are having a great time in Heaven - reminiscing about our times at the Hobby Horse.  I am going to miss you, sitting beside me, on Mondays and our talks about our children and grandchildren.  I wish you much peace.

So many memories of Karen during those years of being an awkward tween (10-14) as Sarah and I competed for who was going to be taller (I won!). The shopping road trips, the suppers around the Andrews kitchen table, the endless hours I practically lived at the Andrews home after school and in summers. All of these moments Karen shared with us or even was just around (always with a sharp wit and needles clacking) held such influence over our lives. Gone much too soon but still stayed long enough to make a lasting impression, thank you Karen. Xoxoxo

Karen Andrews. What a dear gift you were to us all. I first met you at a quilting retreat at Crieff, Ontario, organized by Helen Dubeau. You were such a talented quilter and fun gal. I recall you and your friend Judy Kerr, giggling and laughing uproariously. And the enjoyable road trips with you in the summer to quilt shop hops in search of fabric. 

Karen was active in many quilting groups, and generously shared her good advice, some of it kindly and some of it wise, and always with a smile. You were such a beautiful lady, you will be missed my friend.


I will miss you greatly at Aquafit. You were simply put:  a beautiful person and always made me smile. Rest in peace, my friend. My condolences to the family. Bianca Berruti
