Karen Marie Heard Walker

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Lisaard House, Cambridge on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Karen Marie (Heard) Walker in her 66th year, went to join her parents Mary (Baker) (1974) and Ronald Heard (2014). She leaves behind her loving, supportive husband Dave, and her sons Jonathan (Kim), Shawn (Sarah), and Ian (Lindsay). Karen was the proud grandmother of Ella, Sadie, Raena, Owen, Nathan, Benson and Ivy. She was the dear sister of Ronda Heard (Al Veley), and sister-in-law of Deb Chamney (Larry), and Mike Walker (Liz). Karen was the dear aunt of Amanda Tapscott (Evan), Patrick Chamney (Wendy), and Kathryn Chamney (Josh), and great-aunt of Stella Tapscott and Audrey Chamney. She was the loving niece of Ken and Elaine Baker and Roger Heard.

Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Glenburnie United Church 1028 Unity Rd., Glenburnie, Ontario on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment of cremated remains in Cataraqui Cemetery, Kingston.
