It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen (Kay) Craig announces her passing on Thursday, July 24, at the age of 75, at Caressant Care in Listowel. Kay died peacefully surrounded by friends and family. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Maureen (Doug) Caul of Dryden, Michele (Dave) Deniet of Listowel, and Tammy (Ed) Sweeney of Niagara Falls. Kay will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Kevin, Jordan, Brian, Chris, Brandon, Leanne, Eddy and Nicholas and families, by her six great-grandchildren and by her sister Fran (Jerry) Valeriote. Family and friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where visitation will take place on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 9-10:30 a.m. A Franciscan Funeral Mass in memory of Kay will follow at St. Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. Those who wish to celebrate Kay may make memorial donations in her memory to Canadian Food for Children, 40 King George’s Rd., Toronto ON M8X 1L3, or to Covenant House, 20 Gerard St. E., Toronto, ON M5B 2P3.
