STANDRING, Kenneth— It is with extreme sadness that the Standring Family announces the passing of Kenneth Standring at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, May 2, 2014 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Ann Standring for 56 wonderful years. Dear Dad of Ken Standring (Cheryl), Tina Pepper (Bob) and Derek Standring (Lynda). Loved Papa of Kyla Standring (Joe), Ryan Devlin (Marsha), Keegan, Kallen, Scott, Sara and Devan. Cherished great-grandfather of Tyler, Alyssa and Jeremiah. He is survived by his siblings Audrey, Mona and Sheila. Predeceased by his sister Jean. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in Guelph and Florida and those that he worked with at Imperial Tobacco for 30 years. A special thank you to the Guelph General Hospital ICU doctors and staff, especially to the nurses Alana and Carla for their kindness, care and support. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, for visitation on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p m. A Memorial Service to commemorate Ken’s life will be held in our chapel on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
