

World War II Veteran R.C.A.F. 1941-1945 Peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Friday, December 30, 2011, in his 90th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Jean (2005). Beloved dad of Karen and her husband Jerry, Douglas Neil, Brian and his wife Vicki and Kevin and his wife Vanessa. Cherished grandpa of Bryce, Krista and her fiancé Rob, Brooke and Oliver. Loving brother of Jack; predeceased by his siblings Lila, Warren and Ron. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lloyd was a radar mechanic in W.W. II, serving in Ireland, England and Scotland. Following his military, radio and radar training, Lloyd was posted to the coastal air surveillance base of Bella Bella, near Vancouver. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in our chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau, Ontario.
