M. Lise Koenig-Langis

Koenig-Langis, M.Lise 57 years old, of Guelph, Ontario passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 of metastatic pancreatic cancer. She was born in Toronto on March 13, 1956 and is survived by her mother and father; Monique and Paul Langis; her sister, Joanne Fennell; her children, Alexandra and Marc Koenig; and her best friend and puppy, Sadie. Lise was working as a nurse in Student Health Services at the University of Guelph up until her diagnosis in June 2010. Her passion has always been to help others. She started her career in the OR at Sick Kids Hospital and was there for five years. She then moved to Switzerland, Mexico and Israel before she moved to Guelph in 1992 to be closer to her family, and continued to work as a nurse. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
