McDonald, Marilyn Ann – Peacefully, at the Riverside Glen Long Term Care, Guelph, on Friday, March 22, 2013. Marilyn Ann (née Pickering) McDonald, age 76 years, was the beloved wife of the late Gordon McDonald (2003). She was the loving mother of Lori and her husband David Thomas of Calgary, Alberta, Mark McDonald and his wife Susan Wahlroth, and Paul McDonald, all of Guelph. Marilyn was the proud grandmother of Robyn, Brynlee, Duncan, Chelsea and Jack. She was the dear sister of Dolores Dohanik and her husband Jerry and she is survived by nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by her brother Gerry Pickering. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Riverside Glen for the years of dedicated care. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Huntington Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
