Michael George Curzon

Mike passed away peacefully at 5:52pm on Friday June 11th 2021 in his 57th year, surrounded by his children at the Guelph General Hospital.

Mike is survived by his loving parents Gerald and Gwendolyn Curzon. Cherished brother to Steve Curzon and his wife Laura Handall, Brian and Tracy Curzon, Al and Donna Curzon, and Kim Callahan. Devoted father of Kyle Curzon (Meagan Luftman), Brandon Curzon (Tracy Maclellan) and Brandi Schroeder (Brentt Duby). Proud grandfather of Greyson Duby.

Thank you to all the health care workers who helped Mike near the end, especially the nurses and support staff on 5 East, for all the kind and compassionate care he received. It will never be forgotten.

Mike was an amazing father and best friend. He will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him for his love of cars, bold personality and wicked sense of humour. He loved his Habs, Raptors and fishing. Mike will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts. We will always treasure our memories together.

As per Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the COVID restrictions, the service will be by invitation only. All are welcome to join the live stream on the internet via ZOOM on Tuesday, June 15th at 2:00pm. Link is below. A visitation for the public will take place on Monday, June 14th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph. If you wish to attend you must RSVP for a time slot on his memorial page on the funeral home website. If so desired, memorial donations to The Guelph General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Donations can be made online following the charity link or in person at the funeral home.
