ALVIANO, Nick - Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the age of 73. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Carmela (Finamore). Dear brother of Ray (Lucille), Anthony, Stella (Barry Johnson) and the late Archangelo. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Rick, Joe, Geoff, and Michael Alviano, and Amy and Simon Johnson, and six great-nieces and nephews. Nick was co-owner of Winning Attitude (Stone Road), Guelph, and employee with Union Gas for many years. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m. A Vigil will be held on Tuesday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Nick will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
