Patrick Michael McCann

McCANN, Patrick Michael Patrick was a 35 year employee of Canada Post, where he met his wife 40 years ago. Passed away after a 6 year battle with prostate cancer, at home in Erin Twp, on the morning of Monday, August 28, 2006. Pat McCann, 68 years of age, was the beloved husband for 39 years (married July 29, 1967) of Sharon-Ann (Nyny) (nee Bell) McCann. He was the loving father of Richard Edward Clarence (born 1968), the late Allan Patrick Charles (1970), and Jonathan Michael (born 1972) and his partner Jackie Gilhooley. Pat was the loved grandpa of Connor Joseph McCann (born September 15, 2004). He was the dear brother of Terrance McCann and his late wife Sue (nee Chapman) and step-brother of Allan McCann and his wife Joyce. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Lily (nee Smith) McCann and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Alured Clarence Hayes and Kathyrne Jean (nee Prager) Bell. Sadly missed by his several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. A Private Celebration of Pat's Life was held.
