Rachele Manera

Predeceased by her beloved husband Duilio Manera (2022). Left with many treasured memories are her devoted daughters Linda (Brian Hoffman) and Diane (Armand Chiasson). Adored Nonna of 4 grandsons Zac Hoffman (Lisa Wilson), Tyler Hoffman (Amanda), Raymond Chiasson and Thomas Chiasson.

She was one of 6 children born to Francisco and Paolina Scroccaro. Sister to the late Angela (Giovanni Zago), late Teresa (Angelo Zanardo), twin to late brother Angelo (survived by Mary Scroccaro), late Vincent (survived by Shirley), survived by her youngest sister Maria (Fortunato (Berto) DalBello). Survived by her sister-in-law Vetulia Manera (late Elio).

Rachele immigrated from Italy in 1950 with her family, settling in Guelph, where she met and married Duilio in 1955. In 1965, they moved to the farm where they were able to live their dream lives until they each passed. They enjoyed the benefits of their vegetable garden and watching all the wildlife. Not one to sit idle, mom loved to cook, sew, laugh, play cards, bingo and bocce, collecting many bocce trophies over the years.

She will be forever missed by all who loved her.

Cremation has taken place. A gathering will take place at a later date where we can all share memories of her beautiful life.
