Rina Dametto

Dametto, Rina (Nee Perin)— Suddenly passed away on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 at the age of 77. Rina was the beloved wife to the late Luigi Dametto (1977). Loving mother of Dino Dametto of Guelph; Adriana and her husband Darren LaGrange of Red Deer, Alberta; Grazie and her husband Danny Zardo of Guelph; the late Elena Dametto-Garaffa (1995) and Tony Garaffa of Guelph and the late Louie Dametto (2012). Cherished Nonna of Chantelle (Kevin) Higgins; Jason; Neil; Brandon (Lindsay); Aaron; Vanessa; and Yvette LaGrange; Marcel; Joshua and the late Lucas Zardo (1997). Bis Nonna of Ava Higgins. Rina is predeceased by her parents in Italy Massimo and Elena Perin and her late brother Marcello Perin and her late sister Angela Cavasin and her husband Augusto Cavasin in France. Rina is survived by her sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws in Canada, Mina Polo (Angelo); Joseph Dametto; John Dametto and Maria Dametto. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends in both Canada and Italy. Rina will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by many friends. She was a very active member of St. John’s Church and will always be known for her famous “Crostoli” cookies. She always had a smile on her face and a friendly word to say. Mom, in our hearts you will always stay loved and cherished every day. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph, where family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Vigil for Rina will take place in our chapel at 8:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 10 am. Interment at Marymount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. John’s Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. John's Church 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
