Beloved husband of Barbara G. (LaFontaine) Oaks. Dear father of David and his wife Donna, Cheryll Ann and her husband Dave Franchetto, Michael and his wife Marie, all of Guelph and Paul and his wife Rosemary of British Columbia. Loved grandpa of Stephanie, Gregory, Jeffrey, Colin, Daryl, Brendan, Julia, Douglas, Bennett and Gracie and great-grandpa of Mikaila, Jackson and Oliver. Dear brother of Marilyn McLean and Barbara Blackmere both of Guelph. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph (Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.) where a funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning, October 21st, at 11 o'clock. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
