Robert Bob Potter

Peacefully in Guelph, on Monday May 16, 2016. Robert (Hazelwood) Potter, age 82 years. Loving husband of the late Ann (Cochrane) Potter (1999). Proud father of Holly (Brian Haughton) of Montreal, Stephen (Sheri Burk) of Gatineau, and Michael of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Sam, Emmet, Adelaide, Ann, and Arthur. Dear brother of Margaret, John (Jack), and the late Douglas. Appreciated for his quiet wit and wordplay as well as his equanimity, all who knew Bob will treasure their own special memories of him. The family is grateful to the many friends and neighbours who provided support along the way. Special thanks to Lesley George of Senior Homes Services, and the caring team in the Retirement Plus Unit of the Elliott Community, and Dr. Jason Bailey.

At Bob’s request, there will be no funeral or service, but the family will hold an informal reception at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Saturday, May 28th from 2:00–4:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Elliott Foundation would be appreciated ([email protected]/fundraising ).
