HANNIGAN, ROMA MARGERY (nee JEFFREY): Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Clifford. Loving mother of Cathy Evans, and step-mother of Susan Donaldson, all of Guelph, and Steven Hannigan of Lions Head. Much loved grandmother of Jeff Evans (Sherry) of Norwich, Jason Evans (Michele) of Guelph and Kirsten and Clayton Donaldson, also of Guelph. Great-grandmother of Ava, Adison, and Mikayla Roma Evans, of Guelph. Predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Ruby Jeffrey, brother Michael Jeffrey, and sister Norma Dean. Survived by her Aunt Bess Borthwick of Port Dover and Aunt and Uncle, Lil and Stan Biggs of Guelph. Will be missed by her nieces Mary (Peter) Snyder of Guelph, Roseanne (Mike) Hulbert of Stratford and Andrea (Dave) Weingarden of Ottawa. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel at 12 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family (cards are available at the funeral home 519-821-5077 or send condolences at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
