

It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Siva Anton Pararajasingham in his 66th year after a courageous battle with cancer. Siva passed peacefully at the Hospice Wellington on December 30, 2018 with his wife and daughters by his side. Beloved husband and devoted best friend to Ranee and dear father to Srihari (Amit) and Judy Sriyanthi. He will be fondly remembered by his cherished grandchildren Niam, Sia and his cat Abby. Siva is survived by his cherished brothers Edward Thavarajasingham (Jeevi), Christie Yuvarajasingham (Helen), sister Shyamaladevi (Elmo), Mother in law Pavalam, Kamala Auntie, brother in law Rajan (Kala), sister in law Verny (Pathmanathan), cousins Shankar and Keshi and nieces and nephews Vinod, Mark (Rachel), Jeremmy, Dilshan, Jeffrey, Jenni, Sinmayan (Sharmiah), Chinthuran, Sivakhami, Nischambavi, Karun and grand-nephew Keshav. Siva is predeceased by his parents Murugesu and Roslyn Sivabalasingham, father in law Alagaratnam, Das uncle, sister in law Jeevi and brother in law Pathmanathan.
Siva owned and operated Royal City Driver Training in Guelph and was a well liked in-class teacher and driving instructor. He was a past Master Mason of Speed Lodge 180 in Guelph. Siva also held a PhD in Agronomy and was a research associate at the University of Guelph for a number of years.
Siva was a good man who led an impeccable and disciplined life right until the end. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
Special appreciation must be given to all the nurses, doctors and support staff who provided care and support to Siva at the Hospice Wellington during his final weeks of life, the palliative care team at Bayshore, the staff at Guelph General Hospital and to all the doctors who cared for Siva during the course of his hard-fought illness. If so desired and in lieu of flowers memorial donations to Hospice Wellington and Prostate Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
