A life well lived came to an end peacefully at home on February 4th 2022 for Sophie Laitar in her 86th year. Predeceased by the love of her life John Laitar Jr., parents Walter and Mary Palasz and her brother Rudy Palasz, (survived by her sister-in-law Mary Lou). Mom to son John, Mom to daughter Mari Anne and Grammy to Dayne, Mom to Philip (Sherry) and Grandy to Ana and Emily, and Mom to Chris (Dawna) and Gramma to Travis, Jacob and Teaghan. As per Sophie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will gather in the spring for final farewells when she is interred with her husband at St. Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
