BATES, Stephen Clifford – Passed away with his loving wife by his side at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the age of 54. Beloved husband and best friend of Jamie Bates. Dear father of Crystal (Mark) Pavlovic and Shane Bates (Melanie). Dear Poppy of Victoria and Aleksander. Stephen is survived by his mother Helen Prior, and his brother Paul (Lynn) and sister Sherry (Bill). Predeceased by his father Doug Bates, and brother Michael Bates. Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. The family invite you to dress casually. Cremation has taken place.
