DOWLING, Thomas (Tom) - Tom served in the Canadian Navy in WWII from 1939-1945. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Lenora of 62 years. Much loved father of Lenora (James), Greg (Dianne), Nancy (Mike), Suzanne (Larry), Mary Anne, Kevin (Sadie), Paul, Ryan (Emma) and the late Kirk. Cherished Granddad of 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Dennis Dowling of Paris, ON. Friends will be received for memorial visitation at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for Tom will be held on Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Church of Our Lady Immaculate (28 Norfolk St.) on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment of ashes to take place at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
