MURRAY, Viola Frances (nee Kelly) -- Peacefully at Morriston Park Nursing Home with family by her side on January 16, 2015 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by husband Frank (2008). Loving Mother of Karen and Joyce. Predeceased by son David (1994) and grandson Lee Scott (2014). Loving grandmother to Carrie, Julie, Eric (Judy), and Jon. Loving great grandmother to Shaunessey, Jersey, and Colby. Loving step-mother of Kathy (Rick), and Penny (1998). Predeceased by her step grandchildren Terrance, Robert, and Kiley. Survived by her step grandchildren Ryan (Tiffany), Tom (Sharon), Michael, and Michelle, and her step great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Raymond and Alan, and her sisters Vera, Ethel, Evelyn, and Joyce. Survived by her brother Lloyd (Daisy). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Thank you to the loving staff at Morriston Park Nursing Home for their care and compassion with Viola over the years. Viola was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Strathroy, and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph for visitation on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 10 – 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Hart Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Strathroy Cemetery, Strathroy to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Morriston Park Nursing Home Activity Fund would be appreciated by the family.
