Walter Cunliffe

CUNLIFFE, Walter - 81 years, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Hospice Wellington after a long struggle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara (Raper) and his three sons, Donald (Maureen), Glen, and Paul (Tammy). Walter was a Grandpa to Stephanie, Michael, Erin, Ally, Jennifer, Justin and Jamie. Dear brother of Grace (Hoad), Bob, Eric and the late George, Herb, Nora (Lane) and Bill. Brother-in-law of Willard Roper in Sedona, Arizona. Walter served twenty nine years as a firefighter with the Etobicoke Fire Department. Service will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street,Guelph, on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service for family and friends. The family want to thank all the staff at Hospice Wellington for the care and comfort they provided Walter during his short stay there.
